Culpeper Artisan Collective
Artwork, creative supplies, home goods, and other unexpected finds from makers. Its current Culpeper presence is inside Persimmon Marketplace on East Davis Street.
People & culture
Windmore Center for the Arts
A community arts organization offering theater, writing groups, classes, and ways to take part. Check its calendar for something you might enjoy doing, not just watching.

Before you go
Best on a day when the bookstore and artisan shops are open. Windmore is an arts organization rather than a guaranteed walk-in attraction: check its calendar and add a scheduled program if one fits.
Make it your own
If there is no Windmore program, enjoy a slower Main Street and Davis Street stroll instead; lunch can easily extend the outing.
