Good Around Here uses information you choose to share to explore worthwhile ideas and possible local connections.

What we collect

Share Something Good: Suggestions, an optional town or area, and an optional email address. We use these to consider ideas and respond when appropriate.

Find Your People (adults 18+): Your general area, friendship preferences, interests, optional age range and life experiences (which may include grief or caregiving), and an email address if you choose to be contacted. We use responses to explore possible friendship groups and invitations.

Your privacy and choices

We don't create public profiles or share individual responses or contact details with other participants without your permission. Choosing to hear about possible connections doesn't subscribe you to general updates. No group, introduction or reply is guaranteed.

Where information goes

Our forms are provided by Tally, which stores responses for us. Cloudflare hosts the website and may process technical data such as IP addresses and security logs. Email providers process messages you send us. Outside links have their own privacy policies. We don't intentionally use advertising trackers or sell personal information.

Questions or deletion

We keep submissions only while needed for these purposes. To ask about, correct or delete a submission, or stop being contacted, use our Contact page. If you submitted anonymously, please include enough detail to help locate your response.
